Tired of shifting?
Don't want an Auto-stick?
How about a Beetle convertible with a typeIII automatic.
Take a $25 chance and you could possibly own one.

The back story is heart-warming. A genuine labor of love.
I have seen the car in person, and it looks good-------and for 25 bucks (or more if you wish), how can you go wrong? The cause is wonderful----in fact our local VW club (Bi-State VW Club. [Davenport Ia/Moline Il.] )--have Camp Courageous as our club charity, donating thousands of dollars to the camp every year. In addition, the Camp Director owns and drives an ACVW.

Ordered three sets... great (and heartbreaking) story and what looks like a hell of a build. My wife is also battling (and winning, thankfully), so I'm just glad to be able to donate to a worthy cause. |

Hiya, Charlie:
Thanks for checking in (and refreshing your Samba membership).
Is there any way to know how many tickets have been sold?
Not that it makes any difference-------just a curiosity thing.
And, might I also add------Thank You to all that have purchased tickets so far.

That automatic will make it easier to drive in the Michigan winters after I win. _________________ The consequences of your decisions should not be confused with fate. |

is there a build thread on how he did the auto trans conversion ? |
Not that I'm aware of.
But I believe that Samba member "flyboat" did a similar conversion a few years ago. |

Thank you.
Perhaps Karma will smile on you because, as you might have noticed, the car builder/ donor is right in your neck of the woods. Good luck.
