Yes but if I recall correctly, those stainless fuel hoses are only covers over ridgid plastic fuel hose very similar to that found on the vanagon from the fuel pump to the firewall.
Not unlike "stainless" flexible brake lines.

However, they should help alleviate the rodent chewing problem. _________________ Jim Crowther

i ended up using the gates new hose j30r14 found some for $2.99/ft at napa and i used a chemical resistant plastic sleeve cover (from mcmaster carr) with a stainless steel braided sleeve over the plastic sleeve
https://www.wirecare.com/category/braided-sleeving...e#top-info
i shrink wrapped the ends of the ss sleeve to the plastic. i used the GW approach of running the new fuel line from pump to "T" fitting and removed the fire wall fitting using a rubber gromet to protect the fuel line at the fire wall. i might try a the excess flow valve suggested. when i replaced the fuel lines some of the old lines where rubber with cloth covering and these were the ones that had been chewed by critters and were leaking . _________________ i see said the blind man to his deaf dog
