Metric fasteners

I'm trying to buy replacement fasteners for my engine, but I've noticed that the original cheesehead screws for the gas pump, generator, and distributor had wider/taller heads when compared to what's available now (DIN 84). I've had good luck buying fasteners from McMaster (http://www.mcmaster.com/#machine-screws/=143nj3o), but they don't have what I'm looking for. Can anyone suggest another source for fasteners that are closer to the originals?

don't think they have what your looking for but try global metrics. there near you in belmont. off of industrial. sure you tried them already.
