Hello all, my 69 fastback wouldn't turn off, key off and out and she still runs. I pulled the ignition wire to kill it and still had power to the car. I installed a new cylinder and turn signal assembly with no change, other than the horn is on constantly now, even with the wheel off and horn wire connected and not connected. Sound like a ground issue? Thanks for your help, Chris.

Or unswitched power to the coil (battery power or #30).

Did you install just an ignition lock cylinder? Or did you replace the electrical half of the ignition as well?

the electrical half seems to have fixed it, turning off with the key now. now i need to adjust the depth for the turn signal lever to let it cancel like it should. Thanks!

Glad you got it sorted! That's what happened to mine when the switch disintegrated.
