Not quite yet. I have been busy with work the past couple months and haven't had the time to push the project further until this past week. _________________ Forrest Walker Whitmore

Hi, bumping thread! Was just swearing at our stock sprayers as we drove through a bit of an icy snowstorm the other day and thought of these.

I LOVE the stock sprayers...just good enough to get <some> of the glass wet, but always
worth a try adjusting about once a month to see if it can be any better. (It can't... )
All part of the fun...

Happy New Year!
Sorry about the brief absence.
I have sorted out some design tweaks, and also got my van back from getting the paint done.
I should have some time to test them this weekend. _________________ Forrest Walker Whitmore

What about feedback from the people who've beta tested your new spray nozzles?
Love to see photos of your newly painted van! What color?
Please keep us posted on both accounts! _________________ 1990 Multivan - "Ohana"

I heard back from one person that was going to beta test them, unfortunately, his news was that his van had been totaled. I had to wait until I got my van back to test them again.
Here's a picture of my van:

Oh man, sorry to hear about anybody getting in an accident - bad enough hearing about a van's demise - I hope they are ok.

Wow, looks like the spray pattern pretty much covered everything in sight _________________ '91 Westfalia, Bordeaux Red Pearl 2.1L 2wd Auto

Hello All,
I am extremely excited to announce that the spray nozzle work quite well! I still have a few very minor tweaks to do to the design (mainly the mounting tabs fitment), but I am very happy with the result.
Here are a few images from my testing this morning:
As I said above, I have to make some tweaks to the mounting tabs. I had to shave off some of the edges of the tabs and gently knock the nozzle into place with a rubber mallet. Ideally, they will just pop right in.
I am still going to try to get the spray pattern perfected, but it seems to be working quite well. I'll test it out over the coming weeks and see where it can be improved.

I thought you mentioned that the van was just getting painted.
Or did you use a recycling yard refugee for your nozzle testing? _________________ T.K. |

Looks like new paint to me TK. (are such negative comments really necessary? )

Forrest that is a beautiful color. I have no idea what TK is talking about either.
Be sure to try the nozzles at highway speeds. The spray pattern varies quite a bit from zero to 70mph. |
Thank you I really like the way color came out of the van. It's always tricky trying to envision it as a whole when just looking at a swatch sheet...
I'll definitely see how they work when driving at higher speeds.
