I have an NOS Pre-A case, and I need to have to machined to accept C/912 main bearings. I know that Competition Engineering does this kind of work, but I would prefer to stay local. Can anyone recommend a shop on/near the SF peninsula?

BTW, how big of a deal is it to machine the slots for 55mm main bearing tabs anyway?

Cheers,

There are a couple places which I think do this near you. I believe they are called, Jay's machine and German Precision. Haven't used them in years but they used to be very near to each other, and as I recall are in Santa Clara, on Grant street.
