What is a good break in, ring seating procedure?

Thanks!

After the initial 20 minute cam break in, oil change and valve adjustment, then drive it like you stole it. You won't seat the rings babying the engine like many people believe you must do the first 500 miles. Drive it like you stole it and the rings will seat quickly. While in 3rd gear floor it to 60 MPH then lift and decelerate to 35 MPH, then stomp it again and repeat a few times. If you made a mistake building it or have a defective part it won't matter if it breaks with 30 miles or 1200 miles on the engine.

I've always seen oil gap on top, compression gaps staggered at 8 and 4 o'clock.
