I know there are numerous threads regarding replacement seats, however I've never seen a mention of 356 seats.
Just saw some in a picture and I think they would make a great replacement for a ghia seat, may be a tad on the expensive side though.

Paul, those are just the seat covers not the seat. I see the chrome recliners selling $400-600 alone. You would need to find out the track dimensions and seat width to see if they will physically fit in a ghia. I think you are going to find that they are too $$. Everything 356 is crazy pricing now.

I'm all for customizing your Ghia and making it exactly the way you want it, but Yeah - everything my other brother Darrel said ... plus, is there really enough difference between the style of the seats you linked to ...

... and the standard lowback Ghia seats to even make it worth the effort, let alone the expense?

I'd look for some thin back seats, I think they look the best.

I just sold my speedster and the seats are fine if you are under 180 pounds and have a 32" waist. Confused
You should be able to get the seats cheaper.

Early 911/912 seats look the same to the casual observer and might be a couple bucks cheaper (use to be anyway). But they are heavy...

What about scat procar seats? Their brackets fit the Ghia.

Scat Pro Car seats in my 67 coupe. I had my upholstery guy add the cloth inserts.
