On a 1969 911T with worn suspension, is it possible to upgrade to the 1974-82 (or so) front Koni struts so that Koni Sport inserts can be used as well as larger brakes? I'd like to do it without having to change wheels.
Also- it appears that there's a break in ball joint part numbers around '72/3 or so. I'm assuming the later strut housings will work OK with the earlier ball joints... is this correct?
Any advice from someone who has done this would be appreciated. Thanks! _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Yes, you should be able to. You might have to change the balljoint to the later style too. If the front suspension is worn install the Elephant replacement bearings on the A arms and toss the rubber crap. _________________ 70 Ghia Black convert-9/69 build date-stock w/133k 1600 SP-barn find now with a rebuilt tranny and engine
