You should definitely look up the fresh air guys, maybe start a new post looking for VW guys in Pittsburgh area, there are more than what you would expect but not as many as when you were in California by any stretch of the imagination.
An "upper" is a term used by people in Erie in reference to the people who come "up here" in the summer time to escape the hotter weather in Pittsburgh. They always tell you I am upper from Pittsburgh blah blah blah. You can spot one a mile away and can hear them even further away. Yes Pittsburgh has a language that is unique only to Southwestern PA.
I grew up in Uniontown so I understand it, but I refuse to speak it.
There was a pretty good show near here last September in Geneva, Ohio. It was their first show and they had a good turnout and it was cheap as well to attend.
