Saturday January 21st
All VW INDOOR Car Show and Swap meet held at the Scott building at the NC State Fairgrounds.
We are back in the Scott building again for 2017, we have been unable to get back in a bigger building and waiting on the Fairgrounds to secure our date with everything going on. We do apologize for not knowing this date before the Farmington event. This was just out of our control. There is a possibility for us to look for a new venue. So if you have any suggestions, just let us know.
Show car owners Pre-registration is recommended.
$20 (includes one entry) * Top 25 with Special Awards. Best of Show. Most Original, Best Workmanship, Best use of color, Inner Beauty, Promoters Choice
Vendor/Swap Meet - Pre-registration is a recommended
$40 for a Used Spot, which includes 1 admission
Admission: $10 (12 & Under Free)
FREE SPECTATOR PARKING
There will also be a Flea Market. This is free to the public and will be right across from our building. Check it out at http://www.raleighfleamarket.net/ plus there are several other events going on during the same time as ours. More info on those at a later date.

Less then a month away from the event! We hope you can make it. You guys are the ones that make the event! I have heard some comment about it wasn't worth the trip, since we can only fit so many in the building. Well we had hoped that we could get the bigger building, but that just wasn't possible and they waited until the last min to give us a date. Well if everyone told others that it wasn't worth going, then there would be no point in having any event. We hope that you guys will come out and support not just this event, but any VW event. All of the VW events, weather they are big or small keep our hobby alive. So keep on sharing and let's have a great event.

Wow! He just 18 days is our first event of the Season! We know it came upon us fast and we had to hurry to get the word out.
If you haven't pre-registered for the event, now is the time. We are limited on space in this building, always seem to max it out though.
At this time we have 35 spots left in the show area and the same in the vendor area. Remember, if you pre-register, you will be inside the building.
We will take day of show entries, but only if there is room.
Be sure to check out our event page for all the details, or if you are on Facebook, share and like our event page.

FYI for those that know of T-Hoff Imports. Ted Hoffman will be at the show with his shorty split bus forsale. Ted has retired and wants to sell off his vw collection (4 cars and shorty split bus).He would like to sell everything at once and if that happens,all of his spare parts will be in the sell.He will have pictures of the other cars at his bus. He is open to selling cars sperate.

We have quite a few used parts vendors, Gerald Strickland will be there with his License plates, A Toy Vendor and of course some new parts vendors. So if you are looking for something particular give these guys a call and they can bring with them and save on Shipping.

10 DAYS AWAY! We know most of you are waiting to see what the weather is like, we understand. Pre-registration ends on Thursday Jan 19th at 8pm. If you pre-register, you are guaranteed a spot inside. As many of you know, we always have a packed house and come show day their maybe room inside if some folks don't show. We can park VWs on the front pad as well if we need to.
If you do pre-register and for some reason can't attend, please send us a PM, Call or text us or email. That way we can let someone else in.

We are one week away! Here is a rundown of everything for the event and everyone that has registered, we will send you an email tonight. If you haven't registered, no worries, currently there is still some room left, because I believe that everyone is waiting on the weather forecast. Hope it is as nice as it was today! If you have any questions, just let us know.
We recommend setup for vendors and show cars on Friday the 20th. Please advise if you will be there Friday for Pre-show setup or Saturday. If Saturday all vendors will have to carry their items in and the show cars will have to get the last spaces available.
IF you will be unable to attend, PLEASE call, text or email us that you will not be coming. This way we can let someone else in. We will get with you to transfer your entry to another one of our events.
Please read the following guidelines for move-in: All vendors and show cars only, will enter from the East Side of the building closest to the main rd.
Vendors and Swap meet
Will receive one admission per space.
Set-up time Vendors/Swap meet: Friday 2:30-8:30pm Saturday 7:30am-9:30am. You will have to unload from your truck/trailer and place it outside. We have to make room for everyone. Your space will be marked and all your items MUST fit within your space. We will not be able to accommodate extra space day of show.
No exits or teardowns until 4pm.
Show Cars – For Sale Corral
Set-up is Friday 2:30-8:30pm Saturday 7:30am-9:30am (if space is available). We will be open to the public at 9:00am. All cars MUST be unloaded outside in parking lot and not in the building. If you have a display you must keep it within your space. VW’s are to be driven or pushed in; no trailers allowed inside for load or unload. We will be limited on space this time, as we do have a big crowd coming.
No exits or teardowns until 4pm.
Please remember your VW will not be able to leave during show, so be sure to bring another vehicle to go and come back.

Ok, folks we are getting down to the wire here with the event. We certainly appreciate everyone that has pre-registered. This helps us speed up getting you guys in the building. We don't mind you just coming in on Saturday, this just helps us pre-plan. With that in mind we still have some spaces left for swap and show cars. If you can pre-register, please do. If you are going to wait until Saturday morning, please bare in mind, that all pre-registered cars will go in first and then we will accommodate with the room we have left.
If you did pre-register and you are coming in Saturday, please be there as early as possible, so we can get you in first. IF you encounter a problem, call/text us, 919-616-2183 or 1039. This way if you are still on the way, we can be sure to save your spot.

An overview of the Fairgrounds. Our building is the Scott Building, it is the first one on your right as you enter from the Blue Ridge Rd entrance. If you are showing or vending, take an immediate right after you come in, to come into the building. Or you can take the second right and come all the way around.
There is a bunch of stuff going on, so if you see our area blocked off or something, please let us know.

Just a note that we do accept Credit Cards for spectator entry and shirts. Some vendors may also, you will have to ask. Otherwise, like someone had asked before there is an ATM on the grounds by Dorton area.
