Barndoor panel van 1952 rescue and restoration.

Well I've got another bus !
The wife has already said she will be a bus widow for the next few months and I probably agree with her .
I have been trying to buy this 52 panel van for 6 months and eventually did the deal with a great guy from Greece , I flew over and bought this and another few busses at the same time . Had a great few days hunting the countryside and was made most welcome experiencing genuine "VW" hospitality.
This barndoor was rescued from down by the Turkish border of Greece where it sat for 30 plus years.
I just drove over to Belgium to meet the guys that transported it 1500 miles and collect it to bring it the remaining 300 miles to its new home in UK .
