Damn! , well I know exactly what I'm going to be hearing about in parking lots or while pumping gas for the next few years, maybe I'll get a bite when someone says "wanna' sell it?" and I reply with a rediculous price _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

IDK, it's NOT a good looking bus IMOP. I can't imagine why anyone would want to pay $300k for that one.. Clearly the liquor was flowing at the auction.. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

IMO, the funkiest thing about that Bus is the paint borderline Kindig chose for the nose/beltline...it makes the black section look disproportionately small to the rest of the body...done so all in the name of being different...different in a bad way (again, only in MY opinion). And we still never saw the Swiss cheese frame upon completion.
Auctions: the only place where you haggle the price UP...ridiculous. _________________ My name's Steve and it's pronounced "Bust 'em" (cuz people think I'm Tom) 😏 |

Exactly!
The 67 white on top of black one, lot 1103, is showing sold for $143k.
Spoke to a shop owner that had his wife's powder blue 61 Beetle Convertible in the Mothers booth at SEMA. While pulling it outside at the conclusion of the event for Mothers to break down the display, a gentleman from Isreal offered him almost double what he had invested in it. |
