I need a pic of you, the brown poo pail and any point of interest - wax museum, biggest ball of yarn, farthest southern point, at that diner you got diarrhea at, stuck in a ditch in Louisiana you know that kind of stuff. |
The world's largest ball of twine is only about two hours from me... _________________ Dave Cook

I have no doubts that pic was taken in the parking lot of an auto parts store.

I couldn't imagine that happening. Right Stu Be safe! And get some poo pail pics for Notchboy. You could even use the poo pail and stop using empty bottles. Then Jason wouldn't want it back _________________ Keep on Busin'

nice B4!
I can't tell what color that is... dark blue?
What mods do you have on it?
I'm scared to go that fast in mine... only had it up to 107 (with 520 injectors)... if you're headed to the DC area, look me up!

Going in for a slight tune up, then hitting the road again! Heading clockwise around the country in the wagon, still up for sale! Goal is to stop in NYC, touch Maine to say I did it, stop in CT and drive a Subaru bay window, stop in DC and see a few like wagonTDi cars, hit the keys, and get back to my bus in oralando area, then drive to LA at top speed (stopping if anyone wants to get together), then back to work heading north to some local jobs.
Anyone up to try and connect this time around, give me a holler! Not a slow trip, and basically have time for food stops, fuel ups, the occasional shower (planning to maybe get three in two weeks) and a place to park on nights I don't drive through the night.
Anyone? _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

Also, dates. August 28-July 8.
Reverse that.
July 28th through August 8th is my timeframe to get all the way around. _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

Hit me up when you get near NC, then you can determine if Raleigh is worth the 1 hr detour from the 95 corridor. If you weren't in such a hurry all the time, id say it would be worth the detour just below DC to drive the length of the Blue Ridge Parkway, but it's got a 40 MPH limit the whole length (but no stop lights). _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

You know you are always welcome here, but I am not far enough into your trip to provide that much needed shower. _________________ nothing |

You know that's debateable. If I haven't showered the week prior to leaving you might be the perfect start to the trip as a shower spot haha _________________ Stuart Zickefoose

You only need one empty, you just need to finish the next before it's time to refill. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Hey Stuart,
You have my contact info… Send me a text when you have an idea of when you'll be in Maryland/DC area… Not only can you have a shower and a room, but We can walk home from two different microbreweries!
Maybe I'll be able to test drive that wagon yet!
Stay safe,
