My oval has two optional gauges the usual vdo fuel gauge and it also has a engine vacuum gauge with a 0-30 inches range. Can anyone tell me why someone would want to use a vacuum gauge ? |

Manifold pressure (positive or negative) is one of the most revealing parameters you can monitor. It can be used to tune the carburetor and timing, gauge the health of the engine, even indicate fuel mileage. A quick google search will yield volumes. its a very useful tool.

Vacuum gauges were very popular during the gas crunch and by mileage aware owners. _________________ https://instagram.com/mr.ogpaint
