He was alive as of 4:00 pm central today. We exchanged text messages about my to-do list on the '78.

Crashed in Boise about 2:15 am this morning and was going to finish the drive to Seattle today.

He had flown into KC on Saturday and took off from Manhattan heading northwest in his Passat Sunday afternoon.

Edit: he did not crash the Passat! I meant he stopped for the night to sleep. That kind of "crashed." Shocked
