Stu: When (and I say when because it should happen to a nice guy like you) you get a partner and have a family, you are gonna have some great stories to tell them. A true vintage VW ambassador Been a great read. Keep on truckin'....in whatever your chariot is! _________________

I'm glad I was just an early teenager through the mid-70's. Those clothes, that hair, those shoes... The whole 70's time period was kind of gross.
I often wonder if these artists from that time period view these old video's and shudder when they look at what they were wearing.. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

I'm with you there, Bill. But of course, we had to have bell bottoms in Junior High or you weren't cool.... Luckily, platform shoes weren't a requirement. But in High School, I did get suckered into a pair of Earth Shoes. OUCH! |

I remember in jr. high the "cool" shoes and pants to have were "tough skin" jeans and Walabee shoes. For the girls, the must have pants were "Dittos" and the famous advertising line "do it in Dittos"..
Um.. Walabee's... _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

Led light rope from amazon dirt cheap, hard wired without a switch or fuse to the test port (black wire) by the voltage regulator. Waterproof. Strung the rope among the random clips and such along the engine lid. Worked effectively, not neat or pretty. Works well for me _________________ Stuart Zickefoose
