Local cops just smile and wave too, it was out of town I got hassled (think they just ran the tag,and when it came up as a beetle still I was hit, thought they were going to impound it)
Actually liking the body, makes it more enjoyable to drive, and looks better in my opinion. (driveable in rain now too)I'm sure it's better for the motor now that it's enclosed as well
I'll have to post some pics once it's painted and really final finished. Kind of threw me for a loop when they denied new registration. They're really cracking down here and MI, the utv's on the street caused a big stink, and sandrails just got kind of lumped in with the atv & utv's.
I had always thought of sandrails and dune buggies as the same thing. Guess it's just the body that changes the classification.
