Is there such a thing? A plastic plug or cover to fill a outside mirror hole.

Post a picture of the mirror thread socket. On type 3 and 4....which use the same threaded insert in the door skin....there is a nylon plug from the factory for when the mirror option is deleted. It iw actually a type 1 part #.

Hi John. Yes there were a couple styles of delete plugs.. but don't know where you would find the black one as shown in the topic listed below.

Thanks for the replies. If I choose to remove my stock mirror, maybe I'll check Home Depot or something. There might be something out there in rubber or black plastic.

Check on line. These should not be hard to find. Or check Auveco's catalog. I will measure one and post the specs. Ray
