Is there such a thing? A plastic plug or cover to fill a outside mirror hole.

Post a picture of the mirror thread socket. On type 3 and 4....which use the same threaded insert in the door skin....there is a nylon plug from the factory for when the mirror option is deleted. It iw actually a type 1 part #.

Hi John. Yes there were a couple styles of delete plugs.. but don't know where you would find the black one as shown in the topic listed below.

Thanks for the replies. If I choose to remove my stock mirror, maybe I'll check Home Depot or something. There might be something out there in rubber or black plastic. _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

Check on line. These should not be hard to find. Or check Auveco's catalog. I will measure one and post the specs. Ray |
