1954 VW Radio - Help Me Identify

Below is a pic of the radio in my 1954 VW. Can anyone tell me if this radio could have been original to the car? I looked on gutefahrt.com and I don't see this exact one listed. It most closely resembles the Blaupunkt Bremen (mid 50's) but the faceplate is different.

I doubt it is original to your car when it was new.
There should be a serial number on a paper label on the side of the radio. This will tell us when the radio was made.
