Hi Gang,
I'm having a problem with the drivers door in my '56 sedan.
The window is hard to operate. I've taken the door apart and the regulator out to check it. It seems fine. Lubed it up andput it back in.
The window however seems to rock in the channels causing it to bind. Is there an adjustment for this?

I had the same rocking-in-the-channel problem and sprayed some silicone into the felt side channels and that did the trick, to my satisfaction... was all dried out.
