squareback rear suspension damper post/ nub missing. repair?

Missing this post on left side. ( for suspension damper)

Right side looks like this

Left side complete is this

I was hoping someone could suggest a repair or know of a source for a used piece that I could weld in place to get the required connection. Thx for any help.

that will get you what holds on to the snubber, but I don't think that would be a very easy thing to weld in. Maybe from the bottom?

best of luck. maybe need a whole trailing arm? It's unfortunate it's not bolt in like early cars

Erik, thanks. I don't know how you found that classified but it's perfect if not too expensive. thanks v. much.

Ray... I don't have the nub, it's disappeared...likely pounded off. Even if I did it would have to be welded "into" the tray so as not to modify the height of the connection. That's said, you're correct. If Im unable to access a part I will have to build a nub (likely of a rounded, ground down bolt), weld it to a plate and then inside the depression in the carrier. I'd much prefer to have the correct size nub and plate to weld to the existing piece. Thx. J

No Prob - I just searched for bump stop I think. There are a bunch out there - Keoki is a good dude
