I don't know how rare this is, especially since I destroyed/restored it. I thought I would replace the broken clock in my squareback with this , but I'm on the fence about it. I might just repair the clock. Well this delete has had the rust removed, and the parts plated in gold and rhodium which is a precious metal similar to chrome and often referred to as white gold. I doubled up on window screen as it seemed similar to the scraps I had from it originally. There is a before picture too

That's a really nice looking T-34 speaker grill. You did a nice job on it.
You can tell it's a t-34 part (65 and earlier), due to the 343 part number prefix. The center part was supposed to be brass though. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Well, I guess I can turn it into a roulette wheel, plant it on top of my dash, get a pretty girl to ride shot gun and spin the wheel. My square will become a mobile mini casino.
I guess I'll be fixing that clock after all, which I kinda figured I would be doing anyways. _________________ 1965 Kombi

Tachometer sounds cool, but I think I'm going to stick with the clock. Anyone need aType 34 speaker grill? _________________ 1965 Kombi

I have 3 of them, so it's not rare or desirable to me. I still like what you did with it. |

It is a Type 34 indeed !
On the pic below you can see the one fitted in my dashboard, on the right side of the radio ; it is the original one, the car was built in April, 1963

Not really an accessory.... But very rare!!!
This is one of the most helpful tool's you can have for your type3.
The MATRA engine lift (serial nr. 172) for notchback, squareback and fastback.
It comes with the original crate of the MATRA company delivered to a VW dealership in Eschede / germany. How cool is that?
The bracket for the engine is missing, but you can build one by yourself... if i dont find one! The mechanic is in working order!!!

I'll sell this one soon as is. I think i'll put it on ebay, because people hate "best offer"... |
What's the back story? Did you find this next to the Ark in that warehouse? _________________ '62 golfblau Typ 311 Limousine
