| i got a set of x-rings with matching hub caps a while back. people that i have talked to dont seem to know anything about the caps. they are nos in the box and for a 1200 type 1. instead of the vw emblem in the center they have a raised x. any info would be great.thanks for your time-scott[/list] |

Gosh Scott-----I have never seen the caps with the rings. I have seen the X caps but have never put the two together. X rings and X hub caps----That's a new one on me. Makes sense, but I don't know where you would look to get more information. You are correct with the assumption that they are type one and early.----That I can agree with, at least with the rings that is. I'll ask around with some split owners I know. Good Luck.
