I see the roll of carpet. Holy cow that must have been an interesting trip! |
And they can install it while listening to a Sweet Adelines convention! |

Purchased this 67 single cab on Friday. Appears to be a dealership delivery truck. Under the spray paint it says Bill Spreen Inc. which was a Porsche and Volkswagen dealership in Atlanta, Georgia. Uncovered the Porsche and Volkswagen emblems last night and still working on uncovering more logos. Also trying to find more info on the Bill Spreen dealership.

That Porsche logo is money!! I really like how the silver border gives it a 3D look. Nice job uncovering those, that is some serious patience. |

From the gallery. Said to be real, but I doubt it. UPS is so protective of its brand and image they would not let a "package car" be released for sale to the public. Also, the logo is a newer generation... I also don't think they would pinstripe it.
Any other UPSer's care to comment? |
I have seen many old UPS trucks and they did pinstripe them back in the day, also that logo was first used in 1961. Unfortunately all the years I worked there all the trucks that left went to the crusher. _________________ 73 914 2.0 - sold

So, is this like that section in the Sunday Comics where you have to spot the changes _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

I had to stand a little to the side of the TV when taking the picture so that's why the original looked funny. _________________ Prosit!
