Hey guys thanks for the coments. And Super Skim thanks for posting the picture. I'm really psyched with the oval right now the way it's turning out. It's taken a little over a year to get it to this point but I think it's worth it for sure! As for the wife she's cool with it and I need to give her mad props for putting up with my ass! I'll keep you guys posted with the progress. |

Unless something changed, it's 'chassis', not 'chase'.
Looks great man. Although I have mixed emotions about the wheels, the Hoosiers are a great touch. _________________ Email changed to [email protected] |

OOOOOPPS sorry for the wrong spelling and yes it has been corrected. LOL! Thanks again for the compliments. Hey Southern Yankee I hear you on the wheels! After I put them on I'm not feeling them also! But I don't know what would look good on it?! And please guys don't suggest BRM's. |

Looks pretty good so far! I'm with ya on the wheels though--not feeling those really.
Do you have any before pics of the car? _________________ VW-less right now...looking

Looks like you started out with a solid looking car. Not bad at all!
Do you have a time frame in mind of when you want it to be done? _________________ VW-less right now...looking

Hey Jessica looks can be deceiving! There was alot of work to be done once it was taken apart and stripped down. I was hoping to have it done early this year but it didn't happen. I just got my body back from the painters this past Sun after a year! So if everything else goes well I should have it done sometime this winter. My time frame on it is ASAP!! |

I just uploaded a couple more pics of my oval. Took it back to the body shop so we could hang the fenders, hood, doors. Before it comes home for good! |

Hey, your Oval looks killer! Now stop talking about the phuk'er and get it done! I want to see that bitch run the 1/4 next summer!
I too have something brewing. I hope your rear view mirror has been restored as well, then again, by the time you look into it, I will be ahead of you.
Any solid plans for the interior? _________________ Make it Fast, Make it yours. |

I just posted some new pics of my oval project! It's coming along slowly! I'm trying to finish my part of the work. So I can send it off to the upholstery shop next! |

To thebucket my body man said the lights were in the correct location. Keep in mind that it's a 56 and should have the american bumpers with overiders. Eventually I'll run those full bumpers. 70 140 Yes those will be the wheels I'll be running for good. They're Ercos. Right now the car sits high as I need to adjust the ride height. I need to put some weight on it to do so! |
