|
|
I noticed VHT has a die spray paint out and claims it can work on fabric.
1st-has anyone used this stuff on velor?
2nd-how did it come out?
3rd-does it last?
I'd like to take the cheap way out and not have to have the seats recovered. Or do any other companys make a die spray that works?
Thanks! _________________ Jonks |

I seen it fade.. and black over red.... I wouldnt trust it..I think it would come off on clothes if you had on light shades too _________________ While we all hate POH ... Don't be Apathitic to CURRENT owner hacks.

Dupont has nice dye. Sprayed it on the interior of my work truck eight years ago and it never faded or rubbed off on clothes. _________________ 67 Double Cab

Did the work truck have velor seats? _________________ Jonks |

My seats were vinyl, door panels are ?, and the seat belts were ... well seat belts. They were originally green and everything was dyed black. All of it to this day is still black, no fading. Sorry if I got your hopes up. A helpful hint I learned the hard way. I've found out that dye tends to work better with lite coats, almost like dusting it on there. Hope this helps you out. _________________ 67 Double Cab
