Captains Chairs in front

I picked up some captian chair seat tracks (front seats rotate on them) at the wrecker from a 86 camper van. I have an 86 vanagon, how do I go about installing them, my seat tracks are welded in.

I could be wrong,

But don't the turntables mount to the welded parts?

I'm only going by when I had the seats out of my 87 camper.
