rustbullet and master series CT look to be comparable products with less prep...only comes in silver, though, so need paint ($) if you don't want silver color.... _________________ Wish List:

These two products come in silver because of the high aluminum flake content in them. I know MasterSeries has about 40% aluminum flake. Many paint over rust products are basically concrete floor sealers. They have the resin in them which stops moisture, but the black pigment doesnt do anything except add color. By adding the aluminum flake to the resin, now you are cutting off any Oxygen from going thru to the metal. When these paint over rust products were originally developed for industrial applications and for things like bridges, the only color was silver, and they were very effective for the above reasons. Then, in someones wisdom, they took out the silver flake in some of the products and changed it to black to please and attract the automotive hobby and sell more. Great for selling paint, but in a few years will deteriorate. Rust bullet and MasterSeries are silver, but also are superior to other products out there. The silver can be scuffed up and topcoated with anything and will last a long , long time.
