Could someone please provide me of the electronic ignition control unit module as it is installed in the vehicle? Mainly, I want to see what the heatsink that it is attached to looks like. The reason I ask is because I bought this mexican 1600dp turnkey and it needs uses the same ignition control unit that vanagons use. I can easily find the module online as a replacement part but I can't find the heatsink for it and don't even know what it looks like.
Oh yea, and if anybody has one they would like to sell to me let me know!
Thanks,
Gary |

Is that all there is to it? I was under the impression that this was mounted to an even bigger heat sink.
Thanks,

| Gee I think so. It think it is eally just to dissapate heat generated from the hall effect pointless distributor (I have a 79 CA model). Mine is actually a little bigger than that and is aluminum. Never gets hot though. |

| I ended up looking on my ETKA CD and found the part and part #. The local VW dealer can actually get the heatsink for me. The ETKA CD I got off of Ebay a long time ago comes in handy sometimes. |
