Searching through some photos and found this one of my father-in-law with the '62 in the Petrified Forest in 1964.

With those styles, that picture could have been taken last summer in Alberta.

I wore that same outfit a few months ago (minus the socks). I must be "retro." |

Those "Teepees" in the PNF are Triassic 225 Ma in Age. Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta is Cretaceous at ~74 Ma ... There's about 150 Million years difference in geology between the two places... but them shorts are definitely post-Modern... _________________ Pritchin'

Actually, I don't mind a bit. I am still laughing from some of the comments that y'all have about his 'hip' attire. Haven't been to Canada, but it sounds like a 'rockin' place. Seeing that he never throws anything away, I'm sure this outfit is still in his possession somewhere. |

Yes I saw there was no black line where we find the best bones....Also he is not wearing a black leather fanny pack, so it's not Alberta last summer.

That poor bus needs a good home! I can think of one in particular. |

This was my great great grandad's bus. I think this was taken in the mid '60's I believe. My dad remembers the bus when he was a kid, but it was long gone by the time I was born. I do remember climbing around on the middle seat that was on the back porch when I was a kid in the late '80's.

Not sure but it sure looks like it to me. I don't think any color photos of it exist. |
