| i am prepping the interior of my bug for paint ..currently it has the original from 1966,not sure what type of paint they used back then..i will be applying omni acrylic enamel...can i just sand the old paint smooth and paint over it or should i use a sealer or polyester surfacer.im thinking maybe the old paint was lacquar back then..do u guys see any problems i might run into? |

omni acrylic enamel will go over everything
you can paint enamel over lacquar,
but you can't paint lacquar over enamel .
sand smooth and have at it.
