|
I in the midst of redoing my original roof rack.
My question is what do you guys suggest to use for the rubber
at the base of the rack. ie, the rubber hose.....
I know what i want to use, but i've gone to several harware places and nobody seems to carry the right diameter to fit snuggly so i dont chip my new paint.
Any suggestions..
thanx in advance

I used VW fuel line, cut it to the size needed
may not be "correct" but it worked great for my daily driver _________________ Thornton |

si, that is what I did. It's called plasticoat, you can get it in any color, even clear. Comes in a can and can get it at Lowes. Gotta pour it into a bowl or something with a bigger opening as the latches wont fit in the can. _________________ http://www.sundial-camper.com |

You know you want to be pimp fabulous and use steel braided line instead of rubber to match your engine. _________________ 52 Split Rag
