Marraige?? Oh yeah, the other poker queen I'm working on that also. Buying her a 61 Hard-top Beetle and something else is a brewing also. If I can get enough out of a loan I would REALLY like that 63 FlipSeat "Survivor" on the classifieds right now....... _________________ "It is EASIER to customize a car then it is to RESTORE one"

Hey Henry, you need someone to take care of a bus for you during the OCTO-Classic weekend? I'll even throw in a case of Fat Tire or two! I might be flying in to Cali and sure as hell am not gonna show up in a renta-POS... _________________ Big Mike

Flying???? what??? You are camping though right????? You need a place to stay? pick-up from the airport? Let me know bro. Lot of people cruising out for that weekend. Maybe you can even save on airfare and hitch a ride? 4 busses and a bug I'm sure I can figure something out for ya. Give me a holla _________________ "It is EASIER to customize a car then it is to RESTORE one"

I"m workin on a plan to allow me to come to the classic but the question is, do I really want to take two weeks off and drive through the desert in the brutal summer heat in the back of one of my friend's buses or should I just save up and fly out? Either way, I'm definately camping at blackstar, just have to figure out if I'm buying a tent when I get there... _________________ Big Mike

Type 3? Sweeeet! all I need is to get my brother to sell me his 64 sunroof notch
Hey BusDriver, no need to buy a tent. Either way I'm sure we can hook you up. The VTO will take you in! We have peeps from Hawaii to England coming out for that weekend! _________________ "It is EASIER to customize a car then it is to RESTORE one"

Hey Henry, Thanks for the offer man, I really appriciate it! I just stumbled onto a bus that might be taking all my cali money, so we'll have to see if it works out (don't even know if its for sale right now...) As to year and model, lets just say that it fits the VTO mould much better than my current red rustbox... Pics soon! _________________ Big Mike

Brian, Thanks for the Vin# CharlieH was under the impression it was a FEB of 52? Yeah you bring back the memories. I was also up in KP when VTO rolled in. Plan for the BD right now is to get a motor in it and start driving it again Then a 10 year plan with approx $60-$70K to restore it better than the DzLux _________________ "It is EASIER to customize a car then it is to RESTORE one"
