Hey all just wanted to know if anyone is familiar with this oddity, The kit neds the front apron to be removed almost like a baja. any thoughts. I know it is (expletive) different.

| I remember seeing those sold out of JC Whitney back in the late 70's. Think they were about $99.00 at the time. Not sure who supplied them to JCW. |

| I was going to guess fiber jet made them. They had several different looking baja kits in the '80s. looks like you ended up with half of one for the front and misc. other parts for the rear. The rear parts for the kits would have been similar to the finders you have on the front. |

| Thanks guys for the input, I have been looking for more info and sadly cannot find Diddly, But thats ok it really isnt a big deal. mostly curious and wanted to be a little more helpful for those asking about it. |

Hot VW's built a car in 1971 with the same front fenders.
They called the car "The Calling Car" and took it to the SEMA show that year.
The fenders were from Automated Fiberglass Co.

| hey colorado, thanks they sure do look like the same front fenders. I like the hood treatment much better on the magazine car. are there any pictures of the back? |
