DPO drilled a wide vareity of holes in the pillars of my bus (interior). I want to fill them.

Small ones I can JBWeld and grind down, but some of them are 1/2" across. And in the pillars there's no access to the back to stick something to hold the JB or filler or whatever.

Real welding isn't an option since I don't have a welder (yet). If that's the only way then I'll hold off, but I'd like to fill some of these things more quickly.

Try stuffing steel wool in the hole and then fill with JB weld. Cheap fix. Very Happy

Time to invest in a wire feed welder. If you get a lincoln you can add the gas feed later and spread out the investment over alittle time.

That's more like it! Laughing Seriously I said that as steel wool will rust in low level moisture in a very short period of time. And it turns to rusted dust in not much more time than that... but I do live in the warm humid part of the country! Wink

If you plan on keeping your bus for the rest of your life, then fix it right the first time and weld it. If you patch it now you will be kicking yourself in the ass in a few years when it is time to fix it again.

if these welds are a one shot deal, try to find a local shop of any kind and ask them to do it. cant see any reasonable person raking you over the coals on that sort of repair.
