History
(As I know it, more research in the works)
Purchased new in 1954 in the Los Angeles area
Used by a Los Angeles area farmer on his property until 1987
Purchased from farmer by local enthusiast, who proceed to install a 1776cc engine and Bug
rear end
1776cc engine soon exploded from hauling stresses and it was parked for 10 years.
Another LA enthusiast bought it and brought it back to life with a Bug 40hp engine.
I bought it in 1998 and didn't do much until I sold it to a friend in 1999.
From there it went through a ton of quick owners.
I bought it again in 2004, making me the 4th and 9th owners
