January 29, 2012	• Removed front seats, cleaned and vacuumed up all old horsehair and junk, reinstalled front seats
January 28, 2012	• New front seats
November 6, 2011	• Installed replacement voltage regulator
October 22-23,2011	• Located and installed new middle seat
September 29, 2011	• Installed green seat belts
July 27, 2011	• Driver's door lock cylinder snapped in 1/2 from old repair. Replaced with nice original from my door handle stash after I rekeyed it to the correct code.
July 19, 2011	• Cleaned up a pair of green seat belts I located recently
June 8, 2011	• Topped off steering box fluid • Cleaned up starter solenoid connections
June 4, 2011	• Tune-up - set valves, changed oil, installed new distributor cap, points, set dwell and timing, greased front end, set link pins, rotated tires, oiled hinges • Installed new heater hose seals • Installed new cargo door seals
March 31, 2011	• Upgraded driver's side sun visor with a piece I found at Phoenix Bugorama 2011
November 23, 2010	• Installed clamps on heater box tubes for winter
October 16, 2010	• Replaced reduction box bearing • Replaced wheel cylinder bolt, it broke
October 15, 2010	• Cleaned and painted brake backing plate
October 14, 2010	• Rear left drum getting hot. Outer reduction box bearing is bad, pulled parts for replacement
October 9, 2010	• Replaced left rear axle seal
October 7, 2010	• Tune-up, replaced fan belt • Secured fuel pump outlet
June 10, 2010	• Cleaned axle tubes • Installed camber compensator • Installed new upper cargo door body seal • Waxed bus and roof • Misc. clean up.
June 9, 2010	• Cleaned up fuse box • Checked and set timing, etc.
June 8, 2010	• Played with pop-out seals a little more. Reinstalled left side rear pop-out window after adjusting seal • "Upgraded" Bus to big spoon pop-out latches in rear
June 7, 2010	• Assembled left side rear pop-out window, installed with new seals. • Removed right side rear pop-out window, had to drill 2 lower screws. Installed new outer seal
June 6, 2010	• Installed new steering column seal
June 5, 2010	• Installed new clutch pivot arm and clip • Pulled motor, found pressure plate and throw-out bearing broken, replaced all parts Broken! Robbed 200mm pressure plate from my spare engine • Installed new clutch adjustment nuts • Misc. engine clean up • Replaced some unsatisfactory wire ends on 6v starter relay • Installed accelerator cable guide tube I found recently • Installed new engine/rear apron seal • Replaced choke/cutoff valve/coil wire and connections with a new piece • Installed "new" front splash pan
May 2, 2010	• Pulled clutch cable, removed clutch pivot arm. Pivot arm has some wear, need new one. • Installed front clutch cable seal, ran cable. • Dug out "new" splash pan for Bus from my cabinets, original has a piece torched off by rear of reservoir. • Cleaned and ran die over slash pan bolts and re-tapped nuts on body. • Drilled out and re-tapped one broken bolt.
May 1, 2010	• Greased accelerator linkage, noticed repro seal is cracked and repro linkage already has some wear. • Clutch pedal squeaky lately. Pulled clutch cable, pulled clutch pedal. Disassembled and greased clutch pedal shaft. Cleaned and reinstalled clutch cable. Clutch not working right now, must investigate. • Greased drag link while pedal pan was off.
April 29, 2010	• Disassembled blue-white pop-out frame. Had to drill 3 of the 4 screws. Test fit glass and seals but need to buy a 3.5mm x .6 tap first to clean up threads.
April 28, 2010	• Received near mint original blue-white pop-out window frame • Drilled and disassembled spare pop-out window with VW/Sigla glass to transfer to new frame • Set new frame screws soaking in PB Blaster. One came out immediately.
April 22, 2010	• Clean, polished, and installed nicer fuse box cover I found at Kelley Park 2010 show • Installed NOS valve cover bales I found recently
April 21, 2010	• Hammered out passenger front wheel well dent - came out nice Before After • Popped out rear corner dent (hard to see difference in photos, but popped right out) Before After • Hammered out cargo door crease (not a great result but better looking overall) Before After • Cleaned and installed missing chrome trim on rear cargo door interior panel • Fixed chrome trim on front cargo door interior panel, it was missing 1 clip so it was popping off
March 6, 2010	• Adjusted passenger side axle boot • Fixed starter relay • Misc. clean up and waxing.
February 9, 2010	• Change oil, set valves, set timing, changed air cleaner oil, greased front end. • Reinstalled left side hard line mount on fan shroud. • Noticed 2 front shock lower mounts were loose. Installed lock washers and tightened.
