November 3, 2007	• Picked up some upholstery glue and re-glued a few pieces of vinyl back in place. Behind the front seat and on the parcel tray.
October 21, 2007	• Generator light shining brighter than normal at night with lights on. Cleaned up a few connections and it was fixed.
October 19, 2007	• Hammered out some small dents and tweaks on the rear bumper and reinstalled it. • Worked on loosening frozen decklid hinge some more, it's pretty free now.
October 18, 2007	• Cleaned and polished round mirrors. • Installed correct passenger side mirror I found a while back • Double-checked torque on all lugnuts. None were loose. • Filled up gas tank, new sender works. Sweet.
October 17, 2007	• Reinstalled gas tank • Installed new engine compartment seal over transmission. • Installed new fuel pump, new fuel filter, cleaned out carburetor. • Reinstalled engine • Started engine - no oil cooler leak, no immediate crap in fuel filter. Cool. • Removed broken heater box cables. They came right out but it took about an hour of cleaning out the tubes for the new ones to go in. NOS heater cable I had laying around was a tiny bit too short - weird. I will have to order a new one.
October 16, 2007	• Reassembled gas tank with new fuel tap and sender • Reglued loose gas tank strap pads to tank
October 15, 2007	• Chained and rinsed gas tank more. Decided not to boil it out as one of the baffles is loose so I'll find a replacement tank in the future. • Installed one new axle boot • Installed new main shaft seal • Reassembled engine a bit, installed all missing engine tin screws. More misc. engine clean-up • Cleaned engine compartment for a few hours. Wow, it's dirty.
October 14, 2007	• Removed engine and fuel tank • Replaced oil cooler seals; misc. engine clean-up • Cleaned outside of gas tank. Rinsed out inside with a chain and water, a lot of small junk came out plus a plastic gas can fuel nozzle. Tank may need to be boiled out.
October 13, 2007	• Made another pass at degreasing the undercarriage and transmission at the local car wash • Disassembled, cleaned, and regreased "new" distributor.
October 7, 2007	• Las Vegas Bugorama - Located a clean stock 1500cc vacuum advance distributor
September 30, 2007	• Cleaned up the taillight connections, driver's side brake light was dim.
September 3, 2007	• Sacramento BugORama - Located a nicer Turquoise tool bag • Sacramento BugORama - Located a nice trim ring, thanks to Richard
August 23, 2007	• Installed new tires and wheels
August 21, 2007	• Installed rebuilt 010 distributor • Installed trim rings on wheels, need a couple super nice ones though
August 17, 2007	• New bias ply tires mounted on painted wheels. • Installed original-size spare back into position, had to revert back to the original rear seat luggage bar which is cut short for it to fit because of the gas heater installation. Spent some time sanding and polishing original rear seat bar as it's fairly scratched up.
August 1, 2007	• Installed nicer chrome ash tray I located recently
July 28, 2007	• Installed nice original pre-heat tube seal I located recently

June 6, 2007	• Polished and waxed roof
June 4, 2007	• Corrected choke wiring • Repaired oil pressure sender wiring • Misc. undercarriage cleaning while I changed the oil
June 3, 2007	• Re-seam sealed overhead vent • Re-glued overhead air seal in place • Installed my Blue-White Ambulance fan
June 2, 2007	• Fixed front brakes - new wheel cylinders, shoes, replaced one star clip, repacked one wheel bearing • Misc front end cleaning • Cleaned up and installed a nicer original black-logo hubcap I found recently.
June 1, 2007	• Installed new paper heater hoses, rubber seals, and hose clamps • Installed new oil filler cap seal
May 31, 2007	• Ordered new parts, more front brake disassembly, drilled out broken adjustment star clip
May 30, 2007	• Disassembled front brakes to figure out intermittent problem - wheel cylinders look a little pitted and passenger side has an adjustment star clip missing. Time to order some parts... • Installed new accelerator pedal linkage kit • Installed new front shift bushing, cleaned and greased shifter parts and front shift rod • Misc. front end cleanup • Installed 2 replacement rear seat luggage bar upper screws
May 26, 2007	• Sacramento Bug O Rama - Located driver's side VW/Sigla vent wing glass
May 19, 2007	• Located 2 replacement screws I needed for my back seat luggage rail. 2 originals screws were damaged.
April 23, 2007	• Kelley Park 2007 - Located another short middle seat, a nicer middle seat kick panel, some extra bumper overrider bolts, a Como green toolkit bag, original fresh air tube clamps, and an NOS rear hatch prop rod anti-rattle bushing.
April 15, 2007	• Phoenix Bug-O-Rama - Located correct original side mirror for the one I broke.
April 14, 2007	• Cleaned and installed original rear apron • Straightened lower pulley tin in place, looks like I need a nicer one though • Installed replacement rear engine tin and lower pulley cover tin • Cleaned and tapped rear apron side mounting clips • Replaced side engine seals • Installed block off plates for Southwind heater pipe holes to seal off engine compartment (heater is missing)
April 5, 2007	• Located an original Turkis paint stick.
April 1, 2007	• Tried to adjust original passenger mirror and it broke off in my hand. Arggggg.
March 24, 2007	• Turned on wipers and passenger side linkage fell apart. Reassembled, re-greased it, and re-installed it. • Installed original Turkis decklid prop, screw, and spring. • Installed nicer cargo area grab handle. • Installed nicer passenger sun visor.
March 19, 2007	• Acquired replacement rear engine tin - original is smashed
March 13, 2007	• Acquired missing left and right side solid VW/Sigla glass pieces (1 original piece on each side was broken out by a piano and were replaced by the previous owner last year)
February 28, 2007	• Acquired and cleaned up a new set of Ice Blue sun visors
February 14, 2007	• Picked up wheels and splash pans from powdercoating
February 13, 2007	• Cleaned up new grab handle
February 11, 2007	• OCTO Bus meet - found a nice bulkhead grab handle
February 6, 2007	• Replaced one missing hubcap clip, loaded up wheels for powdercoating
February 3, 2007	• Took wheels to get tires taken off (along with a few other wheels)
February 2, 2007	• Cleaned and installed new cargo floor mat
January 31, 2007	• Acquired new cargo floor mat
January 29, 2007	• Acquired new rear arm rests
January 17, 2007	• Installed new headlight knob • Located a damaged 2/3rds seat cargo mat. Will use until I can find a nice one. • Cruising around today:
January 15, 2007	• Cleaned new headlight knob
January 12-14, 2007	• Buses by the Bridge show - Acquired replacement headlight knob and nicer battery cover.
January 11, 2007	• Installed new front floor mat. Wrong year but it looks better until I find a nice correct one • Installed new accelerator pedal seal. Noticed I need a new accelerator pedal rod and possibly a new accelerator pedal due to wear.
January 4, 2007	• Installed new breather hose • Left side valve cover leaking. Set valves and fixed leak. • Removed and cleaned up original trim ring from original spare rim. It's dated 2.63
January 3, 2007	• Hauling some parts
January 2, 2007	• My Interstate 19L 6-volt battery has a dead cell, exchanged it for a new one. It was new but only lasted 3 months. • Cleaned up original battery strap, located an original battery cover in my collection of spares. • Misc. right-side engine compartment clean-up.
