You can even get it and eat it at your car if you want. Just look for the VW's. All VW enthusiasts are welcome to join in, it doesn’t matter what condition your ride is in, and even if your car is under the weather you can still come and hang out. We won’t tease you. We have High School kids and grandparents sharing their VW stories each week. -Whether it's your 1st VW or your 50th, or you have 20 in your yard right now...it doesn't matter! -Show Car or Beater... it doesn't matter. What matters is that you bring a good attitude and love for VW's. It's okay to bring your kids and dogs too. We're a very informal club...no dues or rules. Family and pet friendly. We meet every week. Sometimes we'll leave the Saturday night meet a little early and cruise down to Oceanside Pier and Harbor areas. We cruise together to many of the VW Shows in Southern CA. We also have a monthly cruise (weather permitting) that's usually the 3rd Sunday of the month. Often we cruise with other local clubs for even bigger gatherings. Cruises include driving PCH down to San Diego for lunch or heading out to Julian for some Pie. Where should we go next? Vanagons In The Valley III New and Improved for 2013 - Now with more Vanagon! We are going back to the Riverfront Campground in Duncannon, PA. This is a sweet spot with a beautiful view of the Susquehanna and Juniata Rivers. Our whole area is shaded by trees, and a great spot for a little kayaking or fishing. The store has fishing supplies and snacks, and they will haul you up river with your kayaks as well. Other stores and restaurants, Antiques store, as well as the Red-Rabbit and the Millersburg Ferry, are all minutes away. We will have several water spickets to share, and electric as well. The electric is not at all the spots, but a few extension cords will help. We will be bringing in our own porta-pots to make sure they are spotless for the ladies, and there are also showers (not the best, kinda cruddy but hey, it's camping). We will also be having some live music, if you have an instrument, bring it! Also, we’ll have a movie for Saturday night on the big screen, so bring popcorn! This is going to be great, I hope to see all of you Vanagon and Bus nuts there! You DO NOT NEED A VANAGON - All are welcome, especially Buses!
