Im sure it has been discussed many times before but what is a good website for type 3 parts. It is a 69 square and we want to rebuild front end tie rod ends etc. Hopefully a site that is easy to navigate for my 14 year old son..

Check out the ads that pop up at the top right every few seconds.
Also check vendor feedback in that forum.
Might not easy for a 14 year old...

The left inner tie rod end is hard to find. VWISPwest may have it, and also, check with BerT3. for that one. It is supposed to be a bent one, and is not shared with the bug. All the rest are shared with the bug.

I was hoping for an easy site to navigate for the kid but if i need to help him I will. Thanks for the idea. I know there is a major supplier most type 3 drivers use I am just having a brainfart..

VWISPWest.com, and CIP1.com are 2 that come to mind. Also, Jbugs.com

I have also found, that if you have the VW part number, google is your friend.

Thanks guys. That was the 2 sites I was looking at but did not know they bent rod was hard to find.

These are all really good, except that CIP1 does not have that tie rod for the type 3

You dont always have to check just on the web also call or go to your local junks yards and ask if they have any vw parts.Me and my husband are from barstow cali and were driving around one day and stoped and asked a junk yard for the hell off it if they had vw parts and turned out they had a shit load of squareback parts we both scored on for both our cars :twisted:

Thanks BB I have a really cool place in central cali most do not know exist for parts all type 3 but i am looking more for repoped crap for my sons car who is 14..
