*PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING HAVING YOUR SPLIT/OVAL PEDALS RESTORED*
Please be aware of an issue with the design of the Split Oval pedal assembly’s where a small percentage of sets of pedals have a condition where when the clutch pedal and brake pedal are depressed at the same time ( as when coming to a stop) the brake pedal will stay depressed until the clutch pedal is released,
This can occur both before and/or after the pedals have been restored,
This is not considered a safety issue and pedals restored by Pedal Werks will make every effort to eliminate this but pedals are not warrantied or guaranteed not to have this issue, and this is not a refundable condition or another set of pedals will not be sent unless paid in full for another restoration.
Pedal Werks has been aware of this issue for many years and is working to find a solution

please specify Year of floor pan (and it has not been changed) and Deluxe (hydraulic brakes) or Standard (cable brakes)
I completely tear down the Pedal cluster, throw away the old bushings then Clean, Inspect, Bead blast all the parts. Only good serviceable parts will be reused.
Pedals are reassembled to factory specs including NEW BUSHINGS setting brake, and roller pedal "side Play"
The support and stop are repaired and welded as needed and powdercoated also. The master cylinder push rod is taken apart powdercoated and the threads are chased and a coating of anti seize is applied and a new cotter pin is supplied.
PEDALS are powder coated Gloss Black, the base is aluminum and will be spray painted aluminum standard or gloss black as a special order (or I can spray paint them Semi-gloss black for a "concourse restoration".) then the parts are assembled with grease, than the assembly is greased through the factory Zerk fitting and ready to install.

I have 3 levels of restoration for the pre 57.
1) concourse would be spray painted semi gloss black with a stock clutch hook and 3 bushings as delivered from the factory original hardware and brake pedal push rod is maintained if any parts are not original i would replace them with og German at no additional cost. NOS extra cost where available
2) Daily driver same as above but would be powdercoat semi gloss or gloss black with stock or aftermarket heavy Duty clutch hook. Original hardware is maintained if possible.
3) Custom cars with big engines and clutches i recommend 4 bushings and aftermarket clutch hook, hardware is up graded as needed.
All pedals are fitted with original roller pedals unless other rollers are requested.. I have NOS roller pedals available for extra cost.
