These options are still present today.

I added a shift lock from Wolfsburg West, black NOS seat cushions (removable), Wolfsburg aluminum door sill plates (removable), glove box organizer and a KAMEI (stamped Made on Germany) parcel tray. I also changed the deck lid badge to the European "VW-1500" from the original USA "Volkswagen" script.

All equipment is original, NOS, or excellent quality reproductions. As a 51-year-old vehicle, the Beetle has some signs of wear and tear and a few imperfections.

The driverís side seat belt is missing the black plastic cover, but is fully functional. It also has a few minor rock chips, some stains and minor tears on the headliner. The original German square weave carpet is worn in places where the driver and passenger habitually placed their feet.

Since a car is only original once, I have left these imperfections to preserve the historic integrity of the car. I see these "flaws" as unique parts of the car's history, which adds to its beauty.

I have a birth certificate for the car from Volkswagen in Wolfsburg showing the build and delivery dates. Built on November 4, 1966.

This vehicle is located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Buyer must arrange transport. For a potential US buyer, I could perhaps deliver over the border to Lynden, Washington. Serious inquiries only.
