1965 Standard Microbus, OG Paint, Cool Project!   Price: $14,000
1965 Sealing Wax Red and Light Beige Grey Original Paint Standard Microbus, Cool Project!

*PLEASE NOTE, this Bus is now being offered with Bay Window Bus Middle and Rear Seats. The price has been adjusted much lower accordingly to reflect that change. Thanks!

Here's a very cool Standard Microbus that is still wearing the majority of its very strong original paint. It features all of the correct seats, complete running gear, and it will prove to be a cool canvas for someone looking for a fun Bus to revive.

The body is impressively straight for an unrestored 51 year old example, it has some rust in the normal places, and the doors, decklid, rear apron, and bumpers are all correct for the Bus as well. It will need rockers, the front floor, some patches on the cargo floor, and the lower rear corners will need some attention as well. A previous owner also cut out the overhead air box and installed a vintage skylight. The nose is extremely nice, the roof is very straight and solid, and the paint is still very thick and should polish out very nicely! Even the little white swipe on the nose emblem is still intact.

The interior features Bay Window middle and rear seats, a nice original paint dash, and the original radio blockoff plate is still intact, too. The wiring at the fuse box is very clean and dry, the bulkhead wall is very nice and straight, and even the rubber kick mat is intact and nice.

Mechanically the Bus is complete although it will require a full revival due to being off the road for many years. The 1500 single port engine could possibly be the original and it spins over by hand, too. Thanks!

$14,000
