Description: '68-'70 Bay Bus HEAVY DUTY Black ABS Plastic lower front kick panels in .090" ABS Plastic
'68 ('68 is a 1 year only on the brake reservoir and you will need to trim to fit) -'70 Buses have the Brake master cylinder reservoir right near the kick panels.... DO NOT GET BRAKE Fluid on the ABS Plastic kick panels. It was a VW design problem / defect as it only was like that for 3 years until they could use up the original order of parts.
Even clean out the lower mounting channel with Q-Tips and rubbing alcohol....

The very popular, indestructible Lower front kick panels made out of THICKER .090" ABS plastic which never falls apart form the moisture in the air or the vinyl peels off from inside heat…. might just out last your VW Bus if properly care for. Clean with plastic type cleaners like from a motorcycle shop / face shield plastic wax.
Can be painted with Krylon Fusion spray paint:
First use the included test ABS piece to practice on it.
Clean the ABS with rubbing alcohol to remove any mold releases and hand grease
Let them to fully dry
Then spray them with Krylon Fusion plastic spray paint
Let them full dry before handling & installing them…
If you want the best paint job, then take them to a body shop for them to Bull Dog primer and paint them with flex additive Bumper paints!
Included are 1/8" black oxide sheet metal screws… but you will need to re-drill a 1/8" hole thru the panels into your sheet metal behind the panels as they were random located drilled at the factory!
