1973 VW Thing Price: $10900
This 1973 Volkswagen (VW) Thing is a great car. It starts right up every time and is easy to figure out. You can count on it every day!
Runs great and fun to drive! I have receipts for all recent work done and parts purchased. New top and window frame covers, recently rebuilt engine, new gas pedal, new emergency brake, rear brake cylinders and shoes, cigarette lighter, headlight switch, emergency flasher switch, top tie downs, hood latch.
Motor basically completely rebuilt professionally and have receipts to document.
New Top and window frame covers. The convertible top frame is in good shape, however it needs to be straightened a tiny bit. The top goes down and back up very easily.
The only thing that doesn't currently work is the heater, although I have been told it would be an easy fix.
Windshield wiper motor and wipers work, horn works and recently replaced, dash light recently replaced and works, license tag light recently replaced and works, new battery within the past three months.
This vehicle has a clear title.
There is very little rust and definitely not rusted out/rusted holes on the bottom.
The inside of the vehicle has carpet, as shown.
The paint is rated a 6 out of 10 (not original color). The original color is orange.
One picture is of the underneath of the car.
Seats are in great condition.
Tires are fairly new.
This is a rare car and it is hard to find one in good shape and one that can be driven every day.
Approximately 98000 miles.
I have invested $5,000 in repairs since January and I am totally in this car for $15,000, but only asking $13,900. I have basically done all of the major work for you.
