The add does say "O.B.O."!! SOMEBODY WANTS THIS BEAUTY!! Don't be afraid to make an offer.
This is a true barn find. It is a 1977 Champagne Edition 1 kombi. Has just over 69k original miles. 2.0 ltr engine. 6 rib trans. This bus is 100% complete and original. Has complete air conditioning system. Middle seat, factory original spare tire that holds air. Spare tire cover. All interior panels are nice. And, believe it or not, the headliner looks to be absolutely mint. Also, it is still the stock fuel injected 2.0 ltr engine.
Bus is located in southern Colorado. Been a high desert bus its whole life. Will need a thorough cleaning in and out. All I'm doing to it is cleaning it, getting it running and driving and selling it.
The bad, rear passenger corner has been hit. It is below the waistline of the bus so repairing it won't be to bad. If needed, I can throw in a good corner replacement piece.
Needs ALL new tires, front windshield, rear passenger taillight lense and housing and seat cover for middle seat. Yeah, that's the bad. Haha
This bus had NO serious rust. There is one spot that will need to be repaired. Its located on the passenger side rain gutter, it's rusted and has a small pencil size rust hole. And both rear corners have rust in the outer edge of the rain gutter as well.
I have a ton of pictures of this bus. Before, during and after it's rescue last month.
This is a true time capsule and gem. It's a beautiful bus.

Anyway, I'm only gonna post a couple of pictures on here. The rest I will send to any interested parties through messenger or text. Too much of a p.i.a. to load up a bunch of pics on here.
I'm asking $8,500O.B.O. for this bus. I actually feel I could get more for it, but tis the season. Its priced to sell quick. Ive been doing this long enough, dont waste my time and i wont waste yours. What's important to me is finding a good home for this bus, not your opinions on what you think it's worth. Lol.

I can be contacted @ [email protected] . Com.. or you can text me @ 719*298*6347 8am to 10pm 7 days of the week. I also run a couple facebook pages that I can be contacted through. #1 San Luis Valleyair-coolers social club
#2 Volks Tech Automotive.
Oh and #3 Is "official volkswagen clubs of Colorado united". I can be contacted through any of these routes

Again this is a very nice bus, a 77 Champagne Edition 1 Kombi bay window bus. If you're looking for a very nice, solid, honest, unmolested original Late Bay Window Bus, THIS is the gem you're looking for. I truly wish I could keep this bus.
It's an amazing survivor. It also has a very cool history to it as well. Was owned by an older couple that owned a resort ranch in the Colorado Rockies. For over a decade it was strictly used to ferry people from their cabins, a mile away to the river for fishing. That's how it's managed to stay so nice for so long with such low miles. It never really had the chance for much highway driving. It was driven a couple times a week for over a decade. And was parked in 1992. It sat where i found it for 26 years. My girl owns a 73 Westy with a 1700dp engine. It runs strong. 75-80 All day long even with a head wind. This 2.0 ltr engine will be a hell of a fun ride.

I sold a 69 tin top Westy last year at this time. Got 6,500 for it, quickly and it had it's issues. Far from the awesomeness of this 77. Not original paint, rust, etc..
I know bloody well what I have and what it's worth.
All reasonable offers will be considered. Possible partial trades also considered and I'm open to ALL trade offers as well. Offers including Volkswagen or volkswagen parts will be given priority. Bay Window double cabs jump to the top of the list for possible trades, immediately! I am NOT desperate to sell this either just an F.Y.I.. The longer I sit on it the more work i will do on it and it's value increases daily.

I would also consider a trade for a double cab bay window.

Don't let this slip through your hands. Contact me asap for more pictures.

P.s. the # listed is also my personal cell #, i also have children, so please be respectful of the time of day when responding. 8am - 10 pm, Monday thru Saturday.

Cheers to finding another air-cooled Volkswagen!
Cheers to saving another lost veedub.
Cheers to pulling another one from the field's and getting it back on pavement..

^^^^That's my personal and business, "mission"!^^^^

**I WILL ALSO DELIVER THIS BUS PERSONALLY**.. Willing to deliver this for a price. I'd go 500 miles in any direction from my front door. I HABE THE MEANS AND TIME TO DELIVER. ANYWHERE WITHIN THE STATE OF COLORADO AND 5OO MILES ANYWHERE ELSE!! Cheers
