1986 VW Westfalia Full Camper a beauty, barn find   Price: $15900
Californian van has been with me for over ten years, sitting most of the time, used for outings.
Did receive a full paint job, done some small repairs like new fuel lines and new lines for the gas tank, new clutch cylinder, etc.
The A/C was not never used by me,
Very low mileage 062 783. Must have been sitting most of it's life as with me.
Everything is there and works, clean, new audio system, fire extinguisher.
Front seats are from a later model van with adjustable armrests.
New windshield, antenna, cleaned out headlights,
new canvas,
new skylight,
Good tires, brakes,
New batteries, 2,
new rear heater,
passenger seat turns around like captain chair,
rear seat and the rear cushion is nicely reapholstered,
New insulations all around behind the panels,
And besides the regular things being taken care of all things are working great.
Selling it way below it's real value, for $15,900 OBO
Three months guarantee if repairs are done by me.

Short history; I bought in CA in 2004. It was in OH in 2000. Drove it fine up to Lynnwood. When three years ago I was ready to work on it, I was trying to put it on my name and was asked to do a State Patrol inspection because it is from out of state. When they were done, I got a registration paper and was told that the title will come in the mail in three years. It is licensed and I can sell it also. When I told them, I already have it with me for ten years or more, they were not interested.
Then I checked the Carfax and found out that it states 51k on 01/01/1986, but it was manufactured on 07/1986. Wow. Next about a year later it had 175k, which works out 12,500k/year, what most cars average, so it was just entered on the records. Then it states 61k miles. I bought it with 61k, now it has 62k after 14 years with me. It's a barn find.
When I bought it had no damage and had a reconditioned engine with AMC heads on.

Engine is great, everything works in the kitchen, ready for the long road, drives strong.
