Large VW collection for sale 1957-1972   Price: 25000
My family has 6 VWs, and a whole bunch of parts we'd like to sell as one lot.
The lot will include all vw parts and vw specific tools and parts we own, as well as these 6 VWs.
1957 Oval Window bug
1960 LHD European Bug (has semaphores)
1963 Ragtop (sliding cloth sunroof bug)
1965 Bug
1966 Beetle
1971 or 72 bus.
These are all project cars. The heater channels are not rusted out, they have all been stored indoors since 1990 or before.
Parts are too numerous to list- lots of doors, hoods, trunks, used motor and body parts, carbs, side windows, etc. There are also enough new parts to build 2 1600 dual port longblocks (including 2 align bored ready to use german blocks).
I'll try to give a little info on each one - but we would like to sell this as one lot, so i'm not going to go into too great detail - i fully expect a dealer to purchase the lot, and as its a large sale, it would be a come and see everything in person kind of deal. - IOW, no shipping, not willing to split them up right now. They've sat for almost 30 years now, so there's no rush to get rid of them. This is not a fire sale.
Anyway a little about each
1957 oval window. We bought this to restore from a hot-rodder. He had already welded up the trim holes on the door and body, and it was already disassembled. I'm fairly sure that i have at the very least the oval window glass. We've parted out at least one 1957 before, so there should be most of the missing parts to put the car together with. The pans were removed when we bought it.
It is clean and rust free. The black paint looks to be original.

1960 European VW bug - Has semaphores with lenses- look to be in good condition. Has a transaxle, but no engine. Bought this one and never did anything to it at all, so other than it isn't rusted out, i really don't know much about it, other than i've never seen another one in person.

1963 ragtop - this was my Dad's favorite, i don't know a whole lot about it either, except it isn't rusted and does have the complete ragtop frame.

1965 bug - complete, was running when parked, needs a new rear apron - there is one we bought out of a junkyard specifically for it in the parts.

1966 bug - has new pans, and was converted to 12v. There is a used complete ~20k mile 1600cc dual port motor that was intended for this car. Pans have been replaced.

1971-2 bus. I forget if if it a 71 or 72. It is pretty much all there. The exterior trim as been removed and is inside the van. The exterior was sand blasted and sealed to prevent corrosion.
The engine was rebuilt to 2L, and has been started and runs, but it has an aftermarket carb and it needs to be rebuilt or replaced.

I'm happy to answer questions, but, i will not split up, or selll you that one part you see in the pic or ship. Sorry, i just don't have the time to go that route.

This would be a great deal for a VW shop, 6 great buildable cars, and a ton of parts.
