1961 US Import (1970) LHD Split Screen VW Campervan
Been in my possession for 26 years, garaged for 25 years
Restored and resprayed around late 1997
Is US spec with fisheye and large rear indicators and has a samba large window rear tailgate, instead of ‘postbox’ window.
Vehicle has hardly been used last 15 years and has gone under extensive engine and running work of late.

It was originally a Devon ‘deluxe’ model with samba trim on the exterior, but some was missing and you couldn’t get any reproduction parts for it at the time, so holes were filled in, and existing trim was removed and thrown away.
